Critical Theory and the Global: The Politics of Translation

This research project is a faculty working group on theories of translation between Cornell University and Syracuse University, funded by the Central New York (CNY) Humanities Corridor. The CNY Humanities Corridor is a unique regional collaboration and interdisciplinary humanities consortium, sponsored by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, between Syracuse University, Cornell University, and the University of Rochester. Our research program is in the cluster of Literature, Language, Culture (LLC). The Co-Principal Investigators of our research program include Brett de Bary (Cornell University), Naoki Sakai (Cornell University), and Meera Lee (Syracuse University).
