The Brazilian Center for Research in Democracy is committed to fostering interdisciplinary research in democracy, bringing together researchers, fellows, and volunteers from five different graduate programs within the School of Humanities: the programs in criminal sciences, economics, history, philosophy, and social sciences. The center develops interdisciplinary research, both theoretical and applied, in democracy broadly defined. We sponsor social research and political, historical, legal, and economic analyses relating to democracy.
