Ph.D. in Political Science and Sociology

The three-year Ph.D. Program in Political Science and Sociology offers a broad range of courses in the social sciences, with the option of pursuing a specialization in political theory, focused predominantly on the critical theory tradition. Primary fields of concentration in the Ph.D. program are: comparative politics; social and political philosophy; gender studies and the sociology of health; political sociology; science and technology studies; and Russian and Eurasian studies. The program is at the growth stage.
