Alif: Journal of Comparative Poetics

American University in Cairo

Alif is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal that is published annually in the spring and includes critical scholarship in Arabic, English and French. Alif welcomes original submissions from the various disciplines of the humanities, including (but not limited to) literature and cultural studies. Please see the journal’s submission guidelines for further information.

Forthcoming issues will center on the following themes: Alif 37 (2017): Literature and Journalism; Alif 38 (2018): Translation and the Production of Knowledge(s); Alif 39 (2019): Transnational Drama: Ritual, Theater and Performance.
