Asia Theories Network

The Asia Theories Network (ATN) is a global scholarly network functioning as a platform for exchanges and collaborations among scholars in the human sciences (the humanities and interpretive social sciences) in Asia, the Global East, and other parts of the world.

The ATN is committed to theoretical studies of Asian subjects. The disciplines and fields ATN covers includes critical theory, Asian and comparative literatures, art, philosophy, Asian studies, cultural studies, studies of science, technology, and society, and social and political theories.

The ATN initiates, conducts, coordinates, orchestrates and participates in various projects in keeping with its goals, including meetings, exchanges, residences, research projects, networking events, platforms, and publications. It organizes conferences, workshops, forums, camps, and other activities at partner venues, including venues in Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, the Philippines, India, Malaysia, South Africa, Poland, and the United States.
