The Center of Contemporary Philosophy and Social Sciences is a research division of the Department of Philosophy at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). The Center’s goal is in analysis and contemplation of trends, tendencies, challenges and problems of contemporary philosophy. It strives to achieve international level of expertise in the fields of Analytical Anthropology of Violence, Postmedia Theory, Big Data, Sociology of Protest Movements, Gender Studies, Cinema Studies, and Exclusion Studies. It aims to broaden knowledge not only among students but to present worldwide outcomes of research to the wide range of public. Providing opportunities for dialogue, the Center’s public and research programs reflect current developments in Russian and international philosophy.
