Anti-Apartheid and Southern Africa Collection

International Institute of Social History, Amsterdam

The IISH developed an extensive and comprehensive anti-apartheid and Southern Africa solidarity collection, which not only includes materials on the Dutch movement but also on and from elsewhere in Europe and South(ern) Africa.  The archives and related collections cover the period from 1950 to 2000. The library and documentation material includes large numbers of books, periodicals, photographs, posters and hundreds of videos, cassettes, badges, flags , T-shirts and other memorabilia. Both the archives and other materials in this collection have been processed in the IISH catalogue.
