The Social Thought and Political Economy Program

Although not labeled as a Critical Theory program, Amhert’s Social Thought and Political Economy Major (STPEC) incorporates a variety of related departments in the humanities and social sciences; thus warranting mention. The major requirement consists of five upper level courses, one history elective, four seminars, one writing course, one practicum course, six international/intercultural courses, and one internship. STPEC also hosts student events and provides internship scholarships.
