Critical Theory and Social Justice
Occidental College
Occidental’s major in Critical Theory and Social Justice (CTSJ) requires eleven courses (44 units), with six required courses including an Introduction to Critical Theory, Social Justice Bootcamp, Research Methods and Critical Inquiry, and both a junior and senior seminar. CTSJ also provides a peer-reviewed journal for Undergraduate Research, The Matrix weekly video podcast series, as well as the OxyGen student-alumni project which allows undergraduates to network with graduated Critical Theory students.
