Research Group on Languages and Materialities

Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez

The Research Group on Languages and Materialities is a transdiciplinary group of scholars that focuses on the intersection between languages, materialities, and experience in a variety of registers–literary, theoretical, artistic, philosophical, and epistemological. The group is based at the School of Liberal Arts, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, in Santiago, Chile, and is composed by scholars in literary studies, art history, political theory, and philosophy. The group meets regularly to discuss texts on new materialism, actor-network theory, critical hermeneutics, as well as other related fields, and organizes seminars and colloquia on these topics.
