Knowledge Taiwan Collective

Conceptualizing Taiwan as a site for the production of cultural theory, the Knowledege Taiwan Collective brings together scholars and researchers who seek to defamiliarize the usual understandings of Taiwan. We instead activate concepts and theories drawing on new intellectual and affective registers. Our aim is to invent new vocabularies — keywords –that can evoke the specificities of Taiwan’s experience without relying on cliched terms, stock phrases, and borrowed concepts.
