Three stipendiary fellows are invited to London every year for periods of up to three months. The Fellows are elected by the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities Board from nominations coming from the Schools of Humanities, Social Sciences, History and Philosophy, and the School of Law. Unpaid fellowships are decided by the Institute Director from direct applications to the Institute.
