Humanities (Critical Theory Track)

Global Center for Advanced Studies

The Global Center for Advanced Studies (GCAS) is a not-for-profit graduate school bridging theory and action. Through a focus on creativity, nomadicity, and collaboration, we are building a new model for the humanities that enables researchers to practice knowledge in real time and develop solutions to social, ecological, and economic challenges around the world. In partnership with the Alma Mater Europaea (AMEU) in Europe, GCAS helps to provide the highest quality accredited master (M.A.) and doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees in the humanities. GCAS is not accredited but offers a specialization in critical theory within the M.A./Ph.D. program in Humanities offered by AMEU, for which our director, Prof. Dr. Creston Davis serves as Dean.
